A SPACE FOR YOU

You don’t have to have it all figured out.

Maybe you’re carrying more than people realize. You keep showing up for work, relationships, and everyone else, while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of yourself. Or a change in your life has left you questioning what you want and where you belong.

Individual therapy offers space to slow down and make sense of what you’re experiencing. We can explore the stories you’ve learned about yourself, the relationships that shape you, and the patterns that may no longer be helping.

I work with adult women, men, and people across the spectrum of gender and sexuality. You don’t need a diagnosis or a crisis to ask for support.

WHAT WE CAN EXPLORE

What’s weighing on you?
We can start there.

Our work will follow your needs and goals. These are some of the concerns you can bring into individual counseling.

Anxiety & overwhelm

Explore worry, pressure, and the feeling that you have to hold everything together. Make room for your emotions and identify what support could look like.

Self-worth & boundaries

Get curious about self-criticism, people-pleasing, and expectations that leave little room for your own needs.

Relationships & identity

Understand patterns in romantic, family, and other important relationships. Explore who you are and how you want to connect with others.

Life changes, grief & sexuality

Find space for loss, changing roles, questions about sexuality or desire, and transitions that don’t have a simple answer.

MEET MICHEAL

Curiosity, care, and room for your story.

I’m Micheal Anderson, M.S., LMFT Candidate. My approach draws on narrative and emotionally focused therapy. Together, we’ll explore how your experiences and relationships have shaped the way you see yourself, while making space for other possibilities.

Therapy is collaborative. We’ll talk about what brings you in, what you hope might change, and a pace that feels workable. My practice is queer-affirming and welcoming of diverse identities and relationship structures.

I practice at Oklahoma Sex & Relationship Institute under the supervision of Charles Dutton. You can learn more about me and my approach.
